Users attempting to perform a search within Cascade CMS may run into an error similar to the one below:

Search failed: no segments* file found in org.apache.lucene.store.FSDirectory

To correct this problem, an Administrator should log into the system and do the following:

  • Click Menu -> Administration
  • Under the Search section, click Search Indexing
  • On the Search Indexing screen, check the Rebuild Search Index box
  • Click Submit
